04/04/2018 By the teaching staff of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Internship  of the SSMU together with the residents and interns of the department on the clinical bases of Perinatal Center, Gynecological clinic "Zhamilya", 2-nd City Hospital of Semey and in Clinical base of the Ust-Kamenogorsk city’s branch presented and organized a discussion of the President's Address to the People "Five Social Initiatives of the President" March 5, 2018 Astana city.

1-st initiative: "New opportunities for purchasing housing for each family" in this regard, the program "7 – 20 – 25" was proposed.

2-nd Initiative: "Reducing the tax burden to increase the wages of low-paid workers" proposed since January 1, 2019 to reduce their tax charges by 10 times – up to 1%.

3-rd Initiative: "Increasing the accessibility and quality of higher education and improving the living conditions of student youth" In the 2018-19 academic year, an additional 20,000 grants will be allocated to 54 thousand grants allocated annually. It is entrusted till the end of 2022 to provide construction of new student hostels not less than 75 thousand places.

4-th Initiative: "Expansion of microcredit" with this purpose was entrusted to allocate in 2018 an additional 20 billion tenge, bringing the total amount of microcredit to 62 billion tenge.

5-th Initiative: "Further gasification of the country". The project on construction of the main gas pipeline along the route Karaozek (Kyzyl-Orda region) – Zhezkazgan – Karaganda – Temirtau – Astana will be implemented.

All initiatives are important for the people of Kazakhstan, especially for young professionals. Residents were interested in the initiative of affordable housing, as well as reducing the tax burden. Students are actively discussing each initiative and are confident that the implementation of all initiatives will be very effective and useful for the people of Kazakhstan.
