Pre-Exam Syndrome. How to prepare yourself morally?

Pre-Exam Syndrome. How to prepare yourself morally?

Examinations – it is always stress, excitement and awe, whether school or student. Perhaps the pre-examination syndrome is familiar to every student. And even if all the topics are studied excellently, and in the pockets there are cribs for all the tickets, a light jitter and nervous shiver will not disappear anywhere. How to cope with this and prepare yourself morally for any exam?

To start, stop taking sedatives. In general, it is better during this period to abandon any medication and sedatives, because they inhibit attention and dull the perception. As well as it is necessary to abandon a liter of coffee on the eve and sleepless nights cramming.

Typically, the preparation for the exam is given from 3 to 5 days, so use them completely, without leaving everything for later. Divide the number of tickets for the allotted days, you won’t get too much to memorize at a time. And knowledge is, first of all, confidence and inner peace. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn exactly the entire subject. To do this, calculate your strength. If it is difficult for you to start self-study, start with the simplest and most understandable or familiar to you questions. Adjust to your “golden hours”: sitting at textbooks is better during the hours of recovery, and rest is at the hours of recession.

When you feel insecure in your abilities and fear of the subject in preparation, take a break from everything, turn away from textbooks and notes, take a few deep breaths, walk around the room, look out the window. Only then proceed to the preparation. Generally, short but regular breaks and proper rest are an ideal remedy for overwork and nervous breakdowns.

On the eve of just before the exam, psychologists advise to distract. Take a walk, watch TV, listen to music, get enough sleep at night, get up early and just repeat the key points. In principle, you should devote the last few hours to yourself and your inner calmness, and the knowledge gained during the preparation process will emerge in your head more quickly if you do not experience stress and stress.

The pledge of confidence is inner composure. Do not be late for the exam, come minutes 15-20 minutes earlier. This time is enough to look around and mentally prepare for the test. In addition, you do not have to wait for the exam to begin for a long time.

Do not fuss or try to read in front of the door in lectures more than you already learned in the process of preparation. At such moments it will be almost impossible to remember anything, and the tension and panic from the fact that not everything has been studied can reach the maximum.

The main thing – emit confidence, even if you are not too strong in the subject, build phrases and do not be silent, try not to stumble and not to argue with the teacher. You were preparing for the exam, you know about it, it gives you peace of mind, and therefore this exam will be successfully passed!

Attention!!! It is forbidden to take on all types of control (exams, RC, current control, etc.) cell phones, i-Pad, other means of information service. In case of using students as a cell phone hint, i-Pad, cheat sheets, etc., the exam is completed, the answer is canceled completely, the grade is “0”
