December 1 – World AIDS Day

December 4, 2018 activists of the "School of Public Health" held a conversation dedicated to World AIDS Day.

December 1 marks World HIV / AIDS Day, which serves to strengthen joint efforts to combat the HIV epidemic, which continues to spread throughout the world. The purpose of the event: to create students' awareness of the importance of the problem of HIV / AIDS and personal responsibility for their behavior, promote healthy lifestyles, foster tolerance towards HIV-infected.
During the conversation, the students were presented a presentation that familiarized them with the main ways of transmission, the prevalence of HIV infection in Kazakhstan, and a video was presented on the day of the fight against AIDS. During the conversation, students were handed out brochures for more detailed information on this infection.

The meeting took place under the slogan "HIV and AIDS is not a barrier to friendship and love"!
