It is already a traditional, but every time such a long-awaited Summer meeting of officials of the Kazakhstan medical students’ association, this year was held from August 13 to 16, within the walls of the Karaganda Medical University. The meeting was attended by students of the Kazakhstan medical students’ association (KazMSA) of our university.

The choice of the city was not random. Karaganda is a mining city with a huge cultural heritage and rich traditions. The purpose of this meeting was to bring together students from all medical universities of Kazakhstan to consider the strategic as well as annual plans for 2019-2020 of the Executive Committee and the National Team.

Each member of the national team and students of our Organization shared their vision of strategic development on the site built by “Summer TOM” by students of the hard-working local committee of MIUK.

One of the important moments of the “summer meeting” was the election of the vacant posts of the National Team, during which the candidates were examined with great enthusiasm and immense zeal for work.

The most informative point of the event was the familiarization with the “Policy Statement” presented by the delegate of the 2019 Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting held in Hong Kong. This document was defended by a student of our university, Aidanа Boranbaeva.

The meeting consisted of an official and unofficial part (The post-Summer TOM)

The unofficial part included a two-day program in the mountains of Karkaralinsk in the form of outdoor activities, teambuilding and training

The conclusion of an unforgettable meeting was an expression of gratitude to Rector R.S. Dosmagambetova, delegates of the LC and the National COMM Team.

The fruit of the two-day work was the formation of a strong working spirit, favorable conditions for team work for the next working year.
