In order to monitor the educational program of the undergraduate program in the specialty “Nursing” on September 11, 2019, the head of the department of medical education of the RCHD Zaure Baigozhina paid a visit to Semey Medical University. Zaure Baigozhina met with Chairman of the Board Yersin Zhunussov and director of department of Innovative Education Fazıl Serdar Gürel. During the meeting, they discussed the implementation of the academic undergraduate program in the specialty “Nursing”, as well as the development of integrated education for this specialty.                According to the program, the expert visited the main building of the university, library, educational and clinical center, clinical facilities, nursing department and attended a focus group with the employers, teaching staff and students. Based on the monitoring results, the expert of the RCHD voiced recommendations for the development of the academic baccalaureate program in the specialty “Nursing” and emphasized the importance of competitive medical personnel training.
