International graduates passed successfully the international test MCI

Twelve international graduates of SMU have confirmed the high quality of knowledge, received at Semey Medical University. They have passed successfully the international test MCI. The Medical Council of India (MCI) is a statutory body for establishing uniform and high standards of medical education in India. The Council grants recognition of medical qualifications, gives accreditation to medical schools, grants a license to medical practitioners, and monitors medical practice.

In 1998, SMU started training of international students in English for the first time in Kazakhstan. Students from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sudan were the first to study in English at SMU.
