On the 22nd-23rd of September 2020, online seminar on the organization and conduction of an objective structured practical exam (OSPE) on the integrated disciplines ”Cardiorespiratory System in norm”, ”Nerve System and Sensory Organs in norm”, ”Blood and Lymph in norm” on the ”General Medicine” educational program 2nd year students was held.
The seminar was organized by the coordinator of the 2nd course of the educational program “General Medicine,” senior lecturer of the department of anatomy, c.m.s Milyushina Ya. A., director of the integrated discipline “Urogenital System in norm,” head of the department of histology, associate professor, c.m.s. Tokesheva A.M., coordinator of the 1st course of the educational program “General Medicine” head of the department of anatomy, associate professor, c.m.s. Kozhanova S.K. As you know, in the 2020-2021 academic year, for the first time in the conditions of distance studying, a practical exam for the 2nd year students of the ”General Medicine” educational program is introduced as one of the stages of summative assessment of students’ achievements. A practical exam in the form of an integrated OSPE is planned after the completion of the study of the disciplines on October 5 and 6, 2020. The second stage of the summative assessment of the achievements of students in the form of integrated testing will be carried out during the examination session. The procedure for the integrated OSPE was developed by the head of the department of anatomy Kozhanova S.K. and the senior lecturer of the department of anatomy Milyushina Ya.A. In the seminar, the staff of the department of anatomy, histology, normal physiology, biochemistry and chemical disciplines, infectious diseases and immunology, molecular biology and medical genetics and Dean of Schoоl of Medicine Uzbekova S.E. participated actively. During the seminar, issues related to the organization, algorithm for conducting OSPE by the listed integrated disciplines were discussed. The seminar participants got acquainted with the instructions of the OSPE for the administrator, the director of the integrated discipline, the examiner. Particular attention was paid to proctoring issues.
