On October 29, the Student Youth Club “FAMS” organized a master class from a neuropsychologist of the highest category, assistant of the Department of Neurology, Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology of the NJSC “SMU” Dmitry Pavlovich Bryzhakhin within the framework of the World Stroke Day.
At this event, students learned: the general concept of stroke, how to recognize a stroke at an early stage, how stroke prevention is carried out, as well as interesting facts about the life of Dmitry Pavlovich, and also learned statistics around the world and our region. Students actively participated in the lecture, asked various interesting questions: How to provide first aid for stroke? How to prevent a second stroke? Also at the meeting was shown a video created by members of the organization, informatively explaining the factors of stroke. The master class was held on the open platform Google Meet; a total of 100 people attended the event.
