On November 26, 2020, Stavropol State Medical University (Russia) hosted the international youth scientific forum “Science week – 2020”. Within the framework of the forum, various breakout sessions were held on topical issues of medicine.

In the section “Actual problems of the clinic of children’s diseases”, members of the SSC of pediatric infectious diseases, 5211 group student, school of medicine, Dina Toleuova, 5101 group student Almas Yerlan and 3231 group student Mukhtar Musabekov with the report “The incidence of children in the first year of life infectious respiratory diseases in Abai Region” represented the Board of authors. The supervisor was candidate of medical sciences, associate Professor, Head of Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Imdat Efendiev.

In their report, the participants spoke about the relevance of infectious respiratory diseases in children.
