Faculty of the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines Zh. Yelemesova on December 4, analyzed CASE tasks with international students in groups 1501, 1502, 1503, 1504, 1505, 1506. CASE tasks are based on the topic of “Amino acids”. Students got acquainted with the tasks, lectures, videos in advance through the KEYPS system. CASE is designed as a clinical situational task and provides chemical questions for its analysis. Task analysis was conducted in groups 1502 and 1504 on the ZOOM platform, and in the remaining groups on WhatsApp. The teacher explained to the students the purpose and meaning of the CASE and the task, and she answered the students’ questions. Chemical approach is important in the analysis of clinical situational tasks, because organic compounds as a building material, the supporting material of the human body and the biochemical processes that take place in them are carried out by chemical reactions. The teacher continued the lesson with students on WhatsApp. Students wrote down the chemical structure of the given amino acids and the reactions of hydrolysis, formation of dipeptides and sent to the group. The teacher checked the answers of students, gave feedback and summed up the lesson.
