As part of the implementation of activities within the framework of the project “Harmonization and mutual recognition of Master’s degree programs in the field of occupational safety and environment / HARMONEE”, 10 teachers of the SMU started intensive professional English courses (4 months) from March 1. Teachers who have passed the qualifying round have joined the classes and will continue to conduct classes for undergraduates in the following specialties: public health and preventive medicine. According to the level of English proficiency, students created groups and determined the format of the lesson. Foreign language courses contribute not only to improving the level of educational competencies and skills of teachers, but also contribute to the expansion of the existing regional and international network in the field of public health. Currently, teachers attend online training seminars in English on the modules of the project. Thanks to the Erasmus+ project, the teaching staff of our medical university has the opportunity not only to communicate with foreign colleagues, but also to introduce a unified interdisciplinary approach to public health education.
