Within the framework of the Erasmus+ HARMONEE project, a competition was held for participation in internships of the Summer School 2021 at the University of Milan (Italy) and the University of Utrecht (Netherlands), which was successfully passed by the Master of Medical Sciences, lecturer of the Department of Public Health Iskakova Nazym Serikanovna; Master of Medical Sciences, lecturer of the Department of Public Health Kussainova Diana Kasenovna and PhD, lecturer of the Department epidemiology and biostatistics Ibrayeva Zhanar Beisengalievna.
The training within the framework of the Summer School began on November 4, 2021 with the lecturer Professor Dario Consonni on the following topics: epidemiology, cohort studies and statistics. Within the framework of the Erasmus+ HARMONEE project, it is planned to develop 9 modules for the Master’s degree program in public health and the environment. For the development of modules, 9 interdisciplinary groups have been created from among the teachers of Central Asian universities. Lectures on module development began on December 16, 2021 with lecturers Dr. Wietske Dohmen and Mieke Lumens and will continue in an online format until the end of June 2022. At each lecture, a step-by-step guide is provided for the development of modules with the completion of mandatory homework. If necessary, consulting sessions are held on the issues that have arisen.
The Summer School is planned to be held offline in the summer of 2022 in Central Asia. Those responsible for the modules will present the final version of the Master’s degree module.
