Semey Medical University, on behalf of the “Level Up” Club, is holding the Interuniversity Academic English Olympiad 2022 of English in Semey.
Time of the event: April 28, 2022
The Olympiad consist of 3 rounds:
Round 1 – Grammar Test 08:00-09:00
Round 2 – Speaking 09:15-10:00
Round 3 – Writing 10:15-11:15.
The Olympiad will be held in the from of the international IELTS exam. In the first elimination round, participants will take a 60-minute test online. In the first round of the Olympiad the max result is 100 points. Those participants who scored above 60 points will enter the second stage of the Olympiad. The second round will be held orally in a question-and-answer format. In this round, the max score is 40 points. In the final stage participants write an essay on one of the proposed topics. The max score in this round is 50 points.

The purpose of the competition:
The Olympiad gives students the opportunity to test their level oF English proficiency and show knowledge through competing with students from other universities.
Participants of the competition:
Students of 1-5 courses of all universities in Semey can participate
