The lesson discussed issues related to the Republican referendum, which will be held on June 5, 2022. The tutors informed the students that the draft law “On Amendments and Additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan” is being submitted to the republican referendum.
According to the President, the nationwide poll “will demonstrate our firm commitment to democratic principles”. “The upcoming referendum will allow every citizen to directly participate in the historic event that will determine the future of Kazakhstan”, K.Tokayev said. In April, the President said that passing the proposed amendments would be tantamount to moving to a “Second Republic”.
