Academic mobility is the movement of teachers of higher educational institutions for a certain period of time to another educational or scientific institution within or outside their country for the purpose of studying or teaching. As part of academic mobility, the head of the Department of Pathological Physiology named after Nazarova T.A., PhD Kozykenova Zh.U. visited the Department of Pathological Physiology of the West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov from April 25 to April 28, 2022.
Kozykenova Zh.U. participated in conducting practical classes in 3 languages on the 2nd year in the specialties «General Medicine» and «Dentistry». During the visit, Zhanna Kozykenova attended a meeting of the student scientific circle «Young pathophysiologist» at the Department of Pathological Physiology.
With great interest, Kozykenova Zh.U. visited the university library, where the main information resources necessary for the educational process were presented. These days, within the walls of the university, an annual scientific student conference was held with the participation of students of our university. Zhanna Kozykenova took part in the conference as a scientific supervisor of the student report.
From May 11 to May 17, 2022, our university was visited by the head of the Department of Pathological Physiology of the West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov, с.m.s. Zheksenova A.N. According to the program of academic mobility, Azhar Zheksenova took part in conducting practical classes on the topics: «Hypoxia» and «Peripheral circulatory disorders» in Kazakh and Russian. During the visit Zheksenovа A.N. got acquainted with the activities of departments and departments of normal physiology, microbiology, IT in medicine, molecular biology and medical genetics. Azhar Zheksenova also visited the library of our university, where she was shown the latest resources used by students and teaching staff in the educational process. The cultural program of the visit included a sightseeing tour of the city, a visit to the Abay Museum and a unique tape forest.
Within the framework of the visit, the goals were achieved, uniting the departments of pathological physiology of two universities of the West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov and NCJSC «Semey Medical University». We sincerely hope for fruitful cooperation in the field of education and science for both sides!
