The EcoStudentKZ project was launched on the initiative of the youth in Kazakhstan. The challenge takes place in the format of eco-plogging. The organizers combine two modern trends – a healthy lifestyle and care for the environment.

Its purpose is to form ecological awareness among the young generation, to help students learn more about their cities and what each of us can do for the place in which we live.

Students of Semey Medical University, NCJSC gathered on Saturday on “Polkovnichy” island to support the challenge. Students cleaned the island from garbage, bottles, paper, plastic bags.

The ecological condition of the city depends on each resident. After all, it’s been known for a long time that it’s not clean where it’s cleaned, but where it’s not trashed.
