On the eve of the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan on October 12, 2022, the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology organized a meeting with an outstanding doctor with the participation of curatorial groups, interns and residents.

Outstanding Professor Ivanova Raifa Latyfovna was the guest of honor.

The participants were shown a video clip about the biography, work activities of Raifa Latyfovna from a local doctor to a famous scientist, whose achievements are known both in Kazakhstan and abroad. Of great interest were the professor’s memories from the time she studied at the medical institute, interesting events, the first medical steps, the formation of her as a scientist, the circle and geography of students. The students asked Raifa Latyfovna questions of concern, such as the importance of choosing a profession, difficulties in the different stages of work, maintaining health and youth.

As a sign of gratitude, the students prepared a musical number.

The meeting was very informative and interesting for the future doctors.
