Republic Day, which has not been celebrated for 13 years, has been re-introduced as a national holiday this year. October 25 is one of the most important dates for our country. It was on this day in 1990 that the declaration of sovereignty of Kazakhstan was adopted. Of course, Republic Day was the first step towards independence. And the Declaration of Sovereignty proclaimed the supremacy of the Constitution of the Republic and its laws. Having determined in due time the course of the future of our country. And the return of the status of a national holiday only confirms that Kazakhstan adheres to the principles of sustainable development, strengthening peace and stability.
And on the eve of the celebration of the Republic Day on October 18, 2022, students of curatorial groups and curators of the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tapbergenov S.O. organized and held a solemn event. The students prepared a presentation “My country, my Kazakhstan”, patriotic songs and dances were performed and a quiz was held. Such events are very important to hold among the younger generation.
