Semey Medical University NJSC organized the I International MED-Congress “Man and Health. Multidisciplinary approach in medicine”, which took place on October 18-19, 2022. The event was held with the participation and support of professional medical associations and other stakeholders. The speakers were well-known scientists from leading universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, and other countries of near and far abroad.

The Department of General Medical Practice of Semey, headed by the head of the department, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Azhar Akhmetkalievna Dyusupova, took an active part in organizing and holding the congress. Moreover, the department prepared 2 reports, which were presented by young assistants. Akhmetova Venera Tursynovna made a presentation: “Overlap syndrome in autoimmune thyroid diseases.” Dzharmukhametova Anastasia Sergeevna spoke with the topic of the report “Algorithm for early diagnosis and prevention of metabolic disorders in children and adolescents of the Kazakh population of Semey”. The reports aroused genuine interest among those present, there were many questions. The speakers were wished fruitful work and creative success.
