International Congress “Innovations in Primary Health Care” dedicated to the 44th anniversary of the Alma-Ata Declaration and 4th anniversary of the Astana Declaration on PHC was held on 13-14th of October, 2022, in Taraz city of Zhambyl region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. International Congress was organized by National Association «Primary Health Care», was held in consort with Zhambyl region Health Care administration with the support of Health Care Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the participation of WHO European Center.
The aim of the Congress was demonstration of new approaches to activity of Primary Health Care establishments of medical service for population, certain family or a person, on the basis of integration of medical, psychological and social services, providing by multidisciplinary team of Primary Health Care specialists.
Best healthcare experts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russian Federation and international partners represented own experience at the Congress. Participants visited the Best Practice Centers of Primary Health Care of Zhambyl region, where innovative trendsetting technologies of PHC were assimilated by way of WHO Demonstration Platform example.
Delegation from Semey Medical University, NCJSC led by the Chairman of the Board – Rector, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Altay A. Dyussupov took participation in the work of the Congress.
Congress reports were represented by professors of the university in breakout sessions. Balashkevich N. A. (Department of General Medical Practice of Semey) represented report «Holistic attitude to management of patients in Primary Health Care system» at the workshop «Progressive technologies of population health promotion on the basis of human-oriented approach by PHC multidisciplinary team». Sharapiyeva A.M. (Department of Nursing) represented report «Problems and perspectives of development of home care nursing» at the workshop «Innovations and contemporary paradigms of nursing on the level of PHC». The Resolution was taken on the results of the work of the Congress.
We appreciate heartily administration of SMU, NCJSC and hosts of the Congress for possibility to be acquainted with trendsetting experience of assimilation of the Best Practice Centers, exchange of ideas and experience with likeminded colleagues at thematic venue. On the results of participation in the work of the Congress dissemination of taken knowledge among target groups is planned; also, the possibility of adaptation of the best practice locally will be considered.[/vc_column_text]
