SES expert Gabriele Maria Krawzak has been visiting Semey Medical University, NCJSC since 26.10.2022. The main goal of the visit is professional development of faculty and students of the Department of Traumatology and Pediatric Surgery.
SES expert Gabriele Maria Krawzak has extensive and longstanding experience in all areas of general and abdominal surgery, in particular, pediatric surgery. Her specialty is pediatric surgery – the examination and treatment of pediatric patients. During her work, she was the head of the departments of pediatric surgery at hospitals in Hamburg, Essen, and Düsseldorf.
Under the scope of the project at SMU, NCJSC, the expert is directly involved in patient rounds and surgical interventions. Besides, the expert’s work is aimed at improving the skills of the department’s staff and students.
