Malnutrition in any disease reduces the effectiveness of treatment, increases the risk of complications, the frequency and duration of hospitalizations, worsens the quality of life of the patient, as well as the further prognosis. Early diagnosis of protein-energy deficiency in the practice of a pediatrician can prevent serious consequences, especially in young children.
Such conducted, practically significant, events provide benefits and contribution to the practical health care. Indeed, at present, children with eating disorders require the advice of a nutritionist for the competent management of such patients. Using a clinical example with the doctor Lukyanchenko Grigory Vasilyevich, the problems of nutrition in children were analyzed, in practice, the required number of calories and the amount of necessary nutrition were calculated. In the course of the analysis, the participants had a lot of discussion questions, to which the invited speaker gave detailed answers.
