On October 28, 2022, at the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D. M. Tusupova, on the basis of UCMC “Venus”, interns of group 708, under the guidance of assistant of the department A. A. Kapanova, sanitary and educational work was carried out among practitioners of the pediatric department, residents and interns of pediatricians of group 601 on the topic “The main aspects of the clinical and diagnostic picture of rotavirus infection in children.” There are more than 110 million cases of rotavirus gastroenteritis worldwide every year. The number of deaths in rotavirus infection in recent years has reached 352-611 thousand, of which 80% of cases are registered among young children. RVI is the most widespread intestinal infection in almost all territories of the Globe and is a global urgent problem. Interns covered the issues of diagnosis and prevention of this pathology. Timely identification of patients and persons with asymptomatic RV, high-quality clinical, laboratory and epidemiological diagnostics, isolation, treatment and dispensary monitoring of those who have been ill, as well as the organization and implementation of anti-epidemic measures are measures to prevent the occurrence of new cases of the disease and the spread of infection.[/vc_column_text]
