On January 11-13, 2023, an external expert commission (EEC) of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency (IAAR) is planning to visit Semey Medical University, NСJSC in a hybrid format to assess the quality of educational programs of the following educational programs:
1) 7R01150 – Pathological anatomy
2) 7R01152 – Nuclear Medicine
3) 7R01155 – Pediatric dentistry
4) 7R01143 – Angiosurgery for adults, children
5) 7R01142 – Clinical pharmacology
6) 7R01128 – Emergency medicine for adults, children
Specialized accreditation is an assessment of the quality of individual educational programs implemented by an educational organization.
Members of the external expert commission will inspect the material and technical base of the university, visit clinical bases, as well as structural divisions. Interviews with students, employers, alumni and university staff are planned.
Accreditation of educational programs is necessary to obtain a state order for the training of students at all levels, as well as to identify ways to improve the activities of the university.
