On February 4, 2023, the “Center for Nuclear Medicine and Oncology” of the Department of Healthcare of the Abai Region  held an “Open Day” dedicated to World Cancer Day.

Assistants of the Department of Nuclear Medicine and Oncology named after Professor D. R. Musinov took an active part in this event.

Unfortunately, today oncological diseases occupy a leading position not only in Kazakhstan, but throughout the world. One of the first and main tools in the fight against cancer is still the timely detection of the disease, since it is at an early stage that oncological diseases are treatable.

As a result of the open day, more than 160 people were screened.[/vc_column_text]
