Semey Medical University, NCJSC will be sending a team of highly qualified and experienced doctors to Turkey to provide assistance to those affected by the recent earthquake. The decision to send the team was made by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the university, A. Dyussupov.

The team includes:

• Merey Nuridenovich Imanbaev, Head of the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery and a doctor of the highest category and angiosurgeon (vascular surgeon)
• Urazalina Zhanar Maratovna, Associate Professor of the Department of Emergency Medicine, PhD, doctor of the highest category, therapist, and pulmonologist
• Khakimov Mirlan Kairtaevich, Assistant of the Department of Emergency Medical Care and senior surgeon
• Zhunuspekova Aisulu Sarsengazievna, Assistant of the Department of Therapy and senior therapist
• Shyngys Orazmukhametovich Orynbasarova, Head of the Department of Military Training and Colonel of the Medical Service
• Saule Vladimirovna Alpishcheva, High-class doctor and anesthesiologist-resuscitator in the Department of Hospital Surgery, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation
• Zhasulan Oshanovich Kozhakhmetov, High-class doctor, surgeon and doctoral student.
