February 10, 2023 at the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor S.O. Tapbergenov A meeting of the SSC (student scientific club) was held. There were members of the circle, students of the 2nd and 3rd courses of the specialty “Pharmacy”, teachers and staff of the department. The purpose of organizing and holding the meeting was to select and discuss the topics of articles and reports for the upcoming 65th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students with International Participation “Science and Health”, dedicated to the Day of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is held annually on April 12.

Within the framework of the meeting, the opening speech was given by the acting head of the department, c.b.s. Olzhayeva R. R., who introduced the students to the order of the university “On the composition of the organizing committee”, then called on students to actively participate, giving an example from her own scientific experience. Students and teachers exchanged views on upcoming events and expressed their interest in participating in the conference. In the final part of the meeting, it was decided: at least 5 student scientific papers will be submitted from the student scientific circle of the department. It was proposed to include in the agenda of the next meeting of the Council of People’s Commissars the issue of discussing competitive works in the presence of scientific supervisors, correcting shortcomings in the content and visual part of the reports, articles in the collections of conference materials.
