The scientific and practical school “Healthy Smile”, created on the basis of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, has been successfully functioning for many years. Now the school has successfully continued its work on the basis of the Department of Dental Disciplines and MFS of SMU, NCJSC.

The main goal is the formation and approval of a positive attitude to dental health, the conviction of the need to preserve and improve it, the development of healthy lifestyle skills, as well as assistance in choosing behavior, healthy health, as well as preparing students for successful professional activity.

On February 9, the school “Healthy Smile” headed by the assistant of the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery Turusbekova D.Kh. visited the gymnasium No. 37 named after Ybyray Altynsarin. As part of the school “Healthy Smile” there were students of 404 groups: Skakova D., Kayrollaeva U.; 406 groups: Karabaeva A., Nadirbekov R., Abdibekova A. The students were well prepared for the meeting and actively participated. They gave a lecture on health, including dental and its importance, held a master class on tooth brushing methods, answered questions from teachers and students of Gymnasium No. 37. Students of the dental faculty of SMU, NCJSC conducted excellent sanitary and
educational work.

In turn, teachers and students of Lyceum No. 37 highly appreciated the work of students and the head, expressed their gratitude. Positive feedback was received. The school administration invited to further cooperation with the school of “Healthy Smile”.
