On February 16, 2023, the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenereology and Immunology, together with the Department of General Medical Practice of SMU, NCJSC, held a university inter-departmental Olympiad on the topic: “ARVI, influenza and COVID-19”.

The dean of the school of postgraduate education Musabekova Zh.A., the deputy dean Beisegazina Z.R., the outstanding dentist of SMU, NCJSC Abdina A.A. were invited to the Olympiad to participate in the jury.

The participants of the Olympiad were interns GPD 702 (teacher – Acting Associate Professor of the Department of GDP Kamasheva G.T.), 704 (teacher – assistant of the Department of GDP Terekhova T.I.), 619 (teacher – Master of Public Health, Assistant of the Department of Infectious Diseases, dermatovenereology and immunology Zhokebayeva M.S.), 621 (teacher – Smail E.M.) groups that are currently being trained at the department. The Olympiad was held in order to identify and develop interns’ interest in practical and research activities, create the necessary conditions for the formation of the competencies of a future general practitioner, disseminate and popularize theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of infectious diseases in general and possible selection for residency.
