On February 15, 2023, a scientific and practical conference was held on the basis of the Semey Emergency Hospital on the topic “New horizons for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic heart failure” in the framework of the European recommendations for 2021. The conference is timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of Semey Medical University, NCJSC. The conference was attended by practical doctors: GPs, therapists, cardiologists, interested residents and interns.

Presentation on the topic: “What’s new in the 2021 European guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of CHF?” was highlighted by the chairman of the conference, PhD Mansurova D.A. dwelling in detail on all the innovations of the issued recommendations.

Chief freelance cardiologist of the city of Semey Bakaeva L.M. presented a case from her clinical practice on the effectiveness of CHF quadruple therapy in a patient with a low ejection fraction.

In the report of the chief freelance specialist of the Abay Region’s HM PhD Shalgumbaeva G.M. the Rules for Validating the Results of Continuous Professional Development of Healthcare Workers were described.
