On February 25, 2023, the Olympiad “The best intern of the 7th year of the 2022-2023 academic year”, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of SMU, NCJSC, was held on the basis of the Semey Department of SMU, NCJSC. The annual holding of the Olympiad at the department among interns of the 7th year is already becoming a good tradition and more and more interns take part in it every year. The Olympiad began with a greeting from the head of the Department, MD, Professor A.A. Dyusupova and members of the jury represented by Associate Professor T.M. Belyaeva, R.I. Fayzova and the head teacher of the Department A.M. Khismetova.
This event consisted of three stages. The first stage was conducted in the form of a blitz survey, which included questions on internal medicine, emergency medical care, children’s diseases and health management. According to the results of the first stage, 16 best interns who passed to the second stage were selected.
At the second stage, the interns were divided into 4 teams of 4 interns. At this stage, interns were offered a quiz game, which is presented with tasks on internal diseases, emergency medical care, children’s diseases and health management. The tasks were evaluated depending on the level of difficulty from 10 to 50 points. The team that scored the highest number of points at the end of the second stage became the winner in the nomination “The best team among interns of the 7th course of the 2022-2023 academic year” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of SMU, NCJSC and passed to the third stage.
The final stage of the Olympiad was held in the form of solving a situational problem and demonstrating practical skills among the four interns of the winning team, to identify the “Best intern among the interns of the 7th-year GP of the 2022-2023 academic year” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of SMU, NCJSC.
According to the results of the Olympiad in the nomination: “The best team” was won by a team consisting of interns of the 7th year GP: Toylybai L. (707 gr.), Saparzhan A. (707 gr.), Sansyzbai N. (711 gr.) and Nauryzbekov N. (713 gr.).
The main prize in the nomination “The best intern GP of the 7th year of the 2022-2023 academic year” was received by Saparzhan A. from the 707 group.
The winners were awarded with certificates of honor and memorable prizes. The head of the department, MD, Professor Dyusupova Azhar Akhmetkalievna congratulated the winners and wished them further professional improvement. The organizer of the Olympiad, Candidate of Medical Sciences G.T. Kamasheva, assistant of the Department, A.S. Dzharmukhametova, helped in conducting the Olympiad.[/vc_column_text]
