February 27, 2023 Literary and Memorial Museum of F.M. Dostoevsky held an event called “Such an interesting profession.” Sarsembekova Sana Amantaevna, the head of the sector of excursion and mass work, invited 9th grade students of KSU “Secondary School No. 31” in Semey, as well as representatives from SMU, NCJSC to carry out career guidance work.

During the meeting, the students watched an image video about SMU, NCJSC, provided detailed information about the Semey Medical University and distributed brochures about the university.

Methodist of the department for the employment of graduates and the Medical Foundation Kaigeldinova S.A. spoke about the long-term achievements of SMU, NCJSC, about the conditions for admission, noted the opportunities for training in the preparatory department of the Medical Foundation.

All students’ questions were answered by 3rd and 4th year students of the Faculty of General Medicine Amanov Yerkebulan, Ikanova Aigerim and Tolegen Dinara. During the meeting, students asked students questions about student life, learning conditions, difficulties and problems in the learning process. The students spoke about the great opportunities for self-realization and self-development at the university, as well as the opportunities to participate in various student clubs, about academic mobility to other cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad.

At the end of the meeting, a survey of schoolchildren was conducted on the topic of choosing a profession.
