On February 22, 2023, in order to increase the motivation of young people for specialties, to expand the ideas of higher medical education, students of the 1st year of the 2nd group of the specialty “Pharmacy” of the State Higher Medical College named after D. Kalmataev, under the guidance of a teacher Kusmanov Akylbek Turlykhanovich, visited Semey Medical University, NCJSC.

During the visit, college students got acquainted with the activities of a doctor in various areas, asked questions of interest to them, they were very interested in entering the university through an interview.

The students also visited the military department of the university. We walked through the classrooms, got acquainted with various types of military equipment and training weapons, visited a computer class and a mini library.

The teaching staff of the military department brought to students the conditions for admission and the procedure for studying at the military department. Studying within the walls of the university, students of the specialty of pharmacy who have passed the qualifying competition for training at the military department, when completing the full course of the program for 1 year, will receive the military rank of “reserve sergeant”

The students, having thanked all the organizers for the informative excursion, expressed their desire to get higher education in Semey Medical University, NCJSC in the future and additionally study at the military department.
