World Kidney Day is celebrated annually on the second Thursday of March. Among the tasks of the Day is the development of a system for the prevention of kidney diseases. Prevention is the best way to protect yourself from the development of diseases associated with lifestyle and bad habits. The rules that are important to follow when taking care of your health, including the kidneys: regularly drink at least 1-1.5 liters of clean drinking water to help wash the kidneys; at least once a year, do blood and urine tests to monitor the condition of the kidneys, timely detect any negative changes and level them according to the doctor’s prescription; lead a healthy, mobile lifestyle, so as not to create stagnant processes in the body; take care of proper nutrition, trying to increase the consumption of vegetables and fruits; to refuse from bad habits; control blood pressure and body weight. The main thing to remember is that it is better to prevent a disease than to cure it! Get rid of bad habits, take care of yourself and your loved ones and be healthy! Kidney health is in your hands!
