From February 24 to February 28, 2023, employees of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology of Semey Medical University, Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company held a series of lectures on the topic: “Prevention of addictions to psychoactive substances, gambling addiction”. Participants: students of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 courses “Dentistry”, “Pharmacy”, 1, 4 courses “Nursing”, 1,2,3,4 courses “Public Health”. Organizers of the event: School of Public Health, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing and Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology Doctor PhD Moldagaliev T. M., assistants of the department Zhanybekov S. D., Bryzhakhina Zh. D., Almagambetova A. A., Seksenbaev N. Zh.

The main goal of the lecture is to form students’ understanding of the prevention of addictions to psychoactive substances and gambling addiction.

All participants actively participated in the discussion, held a free-form discussion and asked questions.[/vc_column_text]
