On 10.03. 2023, a curatorial hour was held at the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology on the topic: “Prevention of offenses, violations of the principles of academic integrity in the student environment. “Participants: students of 5108 GM. Organizer: Assistant of the Department Almagambetova A.A. made a welcoming speech to the 5th year students of Semey Medical University. In her speech, she highlighted that the quality of knowledge and academic integrity are the main principles of the university. The profession of a doctor is one of the most socially significant. People’s lives and health depend on the quality of knowledge, the level of professional skills, and decisions made.

Academic integrity is a set of values and principles of student behavior in the educational process that develop personal honesty and responsibility for learning. The main principles of the academic value of students in the educational process are: integrity, protection of the rights of the author, openness, transparency, mutual trust, open exchange of information and ideas between students and teachers; respect for the rights and freedoms of students, equality. The obligation of each student to comply with the rules of academic integrity and equal responsibility for their violation.
