In 2023, on March 10, a seminar on the prevention of particularly dangerous zoonotic infections: anthrax and brucellosis was held at the Semey City Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control. The participants of the seminar were medical workers of medical institutions of the city of Semey.

Interns of the GP 619 group and residents of the 102 group of the specialty “Family Medicine” currently studying at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Immunology and Dermatovenerology took an active part in this seminar.

The lecturers highlighted the epidemiological situation in the world, in the Republic of Kazakhstan on brucellosis and anthrax. During the seminar, interns reminded the clinic of the early manifestations of these zoonoses, emphasizing the need for detailed clarification of the epidemiological history in case of suspicion of these particularly dangerous diseases. The participants actively participated in the discussion on the topic of the seminar.
