The training of future doctors cannot be reduced only to the repeated performance of a series of manipulations and procedures. The future doctor should not only learn how to apply the acquired knowledge and skills, but be able to do it systematically, comprehensively, demonstrating the so-called “clinical thinking”. It is to improve the practical preparedness of our interns and residents that our university has acquired this novelty!

BodyInteract is an interactive virtual system designed to practice of diagnosis, make clinical decisions and develop the clinical thinking of future doctors through interaction with virtual patients in various clinical scenarios, within the concept of problem-based learning.

On March 13-14, 2023, Pavel Leonidovich Shestakov, a specialist in Virtumed virtual technologies, conducted training and instruction for teaching staff of clinical departments on working with a virtual patient at the Teaching and clinical center. The instruction was carried out qualitatively, professionally, with an explanation of all the details. Everyone received clear answers to their questions about working with the simulator. Clinical departments should now integrate BodyInteract scenarios’ work into their thematic plans of practical classes.
