On April 1st, 2023, employees of the Department of Internal Diseases and Rheumatology on the plan of Saturday events in the Student Houses of the SMU, NCJSC held a round table on the topic: “The choice of profession – choice of the future” in student house No. 3. The events were attended by teachers of the department, residents of the first and second years of studies, as well as students living in the Student House No. 3. During the round table, residents spoke about their chosen professions: gastroenterologist, nephrologist and rheumatologist, about the progress of study. Resident – gastroenterologist Muzdubayev Daulet told students about the specifics of the gastroenterologist’s work, about the ongoing scientific projects, and resident – gastroenterologist Bagdatkyzy Fariza and resident rheumatologist Beisengazyeva Akzhan shared interesting points of training, such as studying in academic mobility Resident nephrologist Bagenova Bagdat told students about clinical work in the departments of nephrology and hemodialysis. The trainers asked questions of interest, such as the length of study, knowledge of English, grant questions and the possibility of studying in residency in cities such as Pavlodar and Ust-Kamenogorsk. During career guidance work, teachers of the department answered all questions from students. The meeting was very informative and interesting for choosing a future specialty.
