On April 04, 2023, a meeting was held in the assembly hall with students of the 1-2 course of the OP “Dentistry”, “General Medicine”, “Pharmacy”, “Public Health”. The meeting was attended by: Deputy Chairman of the Board for Academic and Educational Work Smailova Zh.K. and Dean of the School of Public Health, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing Kairkhanova Y.O., and methodologist Muratbekova D.A.
The agenda included the following issues:
- Familiarization with the academic policy at the NJSC «Semey Medical University», the Policy of disciplines, the Policy of Academic Integrity, the Internal Regulations of students, the Code of Ethics of Students
- Student attendance and academic performance
- The appearance of students (uniform, wearing logos on robes) and the presence of a pass to enter the university
- Miscellaneous
Special attention was paid to qualitative indicators, the relative academic performance of students. The students were once again told how a student of the NJSC «Semey Medical University» should look like. The students’ attention was focused on the fact that it is necessary for each student to have their own pass and pass through the turnstile only with their own pass. By the end of the meeting, the school staff answered the students’ questions. Holding such meetings is a very important and necessary event for all participants to identify problematic issues of the educational process and consider ways to solve them.[/vc_column_text]
