“Semey Medical University”, NСJSC invites graduates of 11th grade students to take part in the Regional Chemistry Olympiad.

Venue: Abay region, Semey, st. Abay 103. At 10.00. Main building of NJSC “MUS” (Assembly hall, 2nd floor)
Purpose: Attracting and stimulating the interest of a wide range of graduates of 11th grade students of the region who are interested in the profession of a doctor, identifying gifted children entering natural science specialties.
Tasks: identification and development of students’ creative abilities, skills of analysis and critical thinking, interest in scientific research activities.
The Olympiad is held: in the state, Russian languages.
The Olympiad is held in two rounds in the form of written testing and problem solving. The tests include questions from the high school chemistry curriculum. Written testing consists of 30 test questions of I, II, III levels of complexity of the above sections of the program. The written round of the Olympiad is held for 80 minutes, without a break.
Notification of students of the region and methodological support is provided by the Department of Education of the Abai region.
Registration of participants and admission is carried out on the basis of an application (full name, number and name of the educational institution, region, city, language of instruction, contact phone number, sent to e-mail: smu@smu.edu.kz (7 days before start of the Olympics).
Full-time registration is held on the day of the Olympics in the main building from 9.00 to 9.55.
According to the results of the Olympiad, winners and prize-winners are determined, who are awarded with diplomas of 1, 2, 3 degrees.
Payment for accommodation and travel of participants is carried out at the expense of the sending party.
