On April 14, a Job fair was held in the “SMU”, NCJSC. The participants of the event were the head of the HM Region Abai Sandybaev M.N., the head of the department for the provision of medical workers of the Pavlodar region healthcare organization Yeltayeva G.O., deputy akims of districts, representatives of the Health Departments of the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chief doctors of the health care of the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the teaching staff of the “SMU”, NCJSC and graduates of the “SMU”, NCJSC 2023.

The fair was held by the Department Graduate Employment and the Medical Foundation.

It should be noted that it has become a good tradition at the University to hold an annual Job Fair, the purpose of which is to strengthen cooperation between employers and the university in the field of training and employment of specialists.

Holding a Job Fair is of great importance for the healthcare of the Abai Region, East Kazakhstan region and the Pavlodar region in terms of solving the issue of staffing. So, currently, in the Abai region, the shortage of medical personnel is 158 vacant places, in the East Kazakhstan region – 174, in the Pavlodar region – 161 vacant places.

This year, 1,067 young specialists are completing their training at the “SMU”, NCJSC. Graduation is carried out simultaneously at 3 levels: bachelor’s degree, internship, residency.

The process of employment of students is carried out throughout the academic year, and the Job Fair is the final stage of this procedure.[/vc_column_text]
