An integral and necessary part of the organization of research work of students at the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after, prof. S.O. Tapbergenov is the demonstration and evaluation of the results of the work. Students present the results of their work in the form of reports at a scientific and practical conference held at the university. Such an opportunity was presented to members of the student scientific circle during the scientific and practical conference “Science and Health” for students with international participation, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karazhanova L.K. 5 reports were submitted from the department, 3 of which won prizes and 1 speaker received a nomination. In the plenary session, 4th-year students of the specialty “Pharmacy” Amangeldinova Aruzhan and Abdulkarimov Ilgam spoke and took the 1st place prize (supervisor of k.b.s., professor of RAE Olzhayeva R.R.). In the section “Fundamental scientific research in modern medicine”, the 3rd and 4th year students of the specialty “Pharmacy” Nurdana Bakytzharova and Alua Mamysheva (supervisor of science Lauenova S.A.) took the 3rd place. In the section “Health and public health” the report of the 2nd year student of the specialty “Pharmacy” Abzhatova Yerkezhan (supervisor master Lauenova S.A.) was awarded the nomination “Professional disclosure of the topic.
