On April 17, a lecture on “Reproductive health and family planning” was held for students of the 3rd and 4th courses of the OMF. The lecture was conducted by Ryspaeva Zh.A. assistant of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology named after A.A. Kozbagarov.
“When we are young, we rarely think about how our lifestyle affects reproductive health. But we recommend thinking about the future now. In order to preserve reproductive health, it is necessary to lead a healthy lifestyle, observe the rules of personal hygiene, use contraceptives that will prevent unwanted pregnancy, prevent sexual infections, also eat right, regularly engage in physical activity and strengthen the immune system,” – Zhanylsyn Ryspaeva said.
During the lecture, they also talked about the statistics of diseases of the reproductive system, the passage of annual preventive examinations, barrier and natural methods of contraception, infertility, which affects millions of people of reproductive age around the world.
The lecture aroused interest and a lot of questions from students. But one conclusion was made – the reproductive health of a person depends more on himself.
