April 18, 2023 Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tapbergenov S.O. held an Olympiad among students of the specialty “Pharmacy”, dedicated to the memory of the honored candidate of chemical sciences, associate professor, veteran of the department Gavrilenko I.V. on the eve of the 70th anniversary of SMU, NCJSC.
Irina Vladimirovna was born on 06/15/1947. In 1973 she graduated from the Voronezh Technological Institute. In 1975 she successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis for the degree of Candidate of Chemical Sciences, in 1982 she was awarded the title of Associate Professor, in 1983 she was elected Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry at SSMI. Gavrilenko I.V. She had a USSR author’s certificate for an invention, 5 KZ patents for an invention, the author of more than 70 scientific and methodological publications. In September 2003, in connection with the beginning of training in the specialty “Pharmacy”, the course of chemistry was divided into two courses: “Course of General Chemistry” and “Course of the Faculty of Pharmacy”. In September 2006, in connection with the optimization of the educational process, the courses of general chemistry and chemistry of the Faculty of Pharmacy were merged into the course “Chemistry and drug technology”, which from March 1, 2007 was transformed into a department. The head of the course, and later the department was Associate Professor Gavrilenko I.V.
The guest of honor of the Olympiad is a veteran of the department Nailya Zhagifarovna Kusebgalieva, who worked with Irina Vladimirovna for many years.
Words of gratitude and remembrance of Gavrilenko I.V. sent by the former head of the department, now associate professor of the Higher School of Natural Sciences of the International University of Astana, candidate of chemical sciences, associate professor Bolysbekova S.M., who has worked at the medical university for 18 years.
In the Olympiad dedicated to the memory of Gavrilenko I.V., 2 teams took part (“Morphine” and “Dopamine”), 3rd year students of the Russian and Kazakh departments. The organizers of the Olympiad were students of group 401 of the specialty “Pharmacy” and the senior teacher of the department Ablenova A.T. The Olympiad consisted of 4 rounds. During the calculation of points by the jury members, the participants were busy playing logic games and watching a presentation about Irina Vladimirovna.
All participants and organizers of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas and certificates.
