A visiting meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the city of Esik of the Enbekshikazakh district of the Almaty region. The speakers at the meeting were Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azhar Giniyat, Director of the Department of Country Strategies and Health Systems of the WHO European Office Natasha Azoppardi Muscat, Head of the Office of the WHO European Center for Primary Health Care Melitta Yakab, as well as Vice Ministers of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Timur Sultangaziev, Vyacheslav Dudnik and Beibut Yesenbayev. The Board members visited the Enbekshikazakh Multidisciplinary Interdistrict Hospital, which is recognized by the World Health Organization as the Center of Best Practice of Primary Health Care.

It should be noted that the Centers of the best practice of PHC are developed in Kazakhstan thanks to the support of the National Association “Primary Health Care” headed by its head, MD, Professor, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tolebai K.
