In their presentations, future doctors recalled that viral intestinal infections are a group of acute infectious diseases similar in manifestations, in which various viruses are the causative agents: rotaviruses, noro-, astro-, some types of enteroviruses and others.
It has been noted that these pathogens are ubiquitous, multiplying in the cells of the gastrointestinal tract, causing diarrhea and vomiting, and that some types of viruses can also infect the respiratory tract, causing cold-like symptoms: cough, runny nose.
The speakers highlighted the clinical manifestations of viral intestinal infections, with a separate focus on the key rules for the prevention of this group of infectious diseases.
