On May 4, 2023 in conference – hall of ” Semey Medical University ” NCJSC University Hospital an event “Open Doors Day” was held for career guidance work for enrolment in residency specialty ” Gastroenterology adult, children”, which was organized by the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology ” Semey Medical University ” NCJSC and Dean’s Office of Postgraduate Studies. In this event responsible for the resident specialty “Adult, pediatric gastroenterology” acting associate professor of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology Department Shakhanova A.T. familiarized 7-year interns with the purpose, mission and educational programme. Information was given about clinical and training facilities, clinical and academic mentors, the importance and necessity of this specialty. The questions of the interns were answered.
