Тhe International Student Olympiad -2023 “Primus inter pares” was held оn May 4-5, at Astana Medical University. In the section “Children’s infectious diseases”A from our university took part team of interns of the specialty “General medical practice”: Sagynai Daniyar, Narimanova Akylzat, Babakhumar Nazerke and Bizhumanova Aidana and a team of residents of the specialty “Infectious diseases adults, children”: Kabyshev Aspandiyar, Shakaev Kanagat, Kalibayeva Nazerke and Soltanbekova Dina. Teams supervisors: Head of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases c.m.s. Efendiyev I.M., assistant of the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases c.m.s. Mansurova A.A. and assistant of the Department of Pediatrics, PF, m.m.s. Mutusheva A.T. In total, 11 teams participated in the section “Children’s Infectious Diseases”. The participants of the Olympiad went through three stages: “visiting card”, solving a situational problem and demonstrating a practical skill. Our team of interns took 2nd place, and the team of residents – 3rd place. Congratulations to the winners and their supervisors.
