04.05.23 The Department of Internal Diseases and Rheumatology held an event “Open Doors Day” for graduate interns. The purpose of career guidance was to familiarize graduates with the educational program of residency “Nephrology, adults, pediatric”. Responsible for discipline assistant of the department Botabaeva A.S. demonstrated presentation material, where the goals and mission, the main disciplines, the staff of the educational program were presented. Information is given on the main clinical bases of the program, where the practical part of the training takes place. Educational and research work of residents is carried out under the guidance of academic mentors. Additionally, residents replenish the baggage of theoretical and practical knowledge through academic mobility with national and international universities.

During the conversation, the opportunities and prospects for the development of the nephrological service of the Republic of Kazakhstan were highlighted. Therefore, graduates who choose the residency program “Nephrology, adults, pediatric” will undoubtedly be in-demand specialists in their field.
